Sasha Khalili LMFT

Background

My journey into psychology and philosophy is fueled by an insatiable curiosity about the human experience. I’ve always been captivated by the labyrinth of the mind and the myriad ways our experiences shape our view of ourselves and the world.

This quest led me to Antioch University Los Angeles, where I delved into studies on spiritual development, addiction, trauma, and Jungian dream analysis.

But this journey wasn’t just academic; it was personal. I've faced my own storms and navigated the turbulent seas of life’s challenges. These experiences taught me that true healing and growth come from embracing our full range of experiences with compassion and curiosity.

In addition to my academic pursuits, I explored the enchanting realms of Zen Buddhism and Mindfulness Meditation in Kyoto, Japan, uncovering profound insights into the nature of being and consciousness.

Now, my passion lies in helping others become explorers of their own inner worlds, uncovering the roots of their struggles, and fostering a deeper connection with themselves. Together, we’ll navigate the intricate landscapes of the mind, turning every discovery into a stepping stone toward a richer, more fulfilling life.

Approach

My approach is versatile, drawing from a rich tapestry of therapeutic techniques and philosophies:

  • Psychodynamic perspectives to delve into unconscious patterns and cognitive-behavioral strategies to address thought and behavior changes.
  • Integrative and existential approaches, exploring the broader context of your life and the search for meaning.
  • Mindfulness practices and Buddhist principles to help cultivate present-moment awareness and acceptance.
  • Solution-focused techniques aim to identify and build on your strengths to create practical, positive changes.
  • Humanistic modalities to emphasize personal growth, self-acceptance, and the inherent potential within each individual.
  • Inner child work to heal past wounds and nurture your emotional well-being from the ground up.

This blend allows me to tailor therapy to your unique needs, fostering a holistic and transformative healing process.
